Came here for dinner tonight as we were craving some yummy French food before seeing a play down the street. This place was excellent!!

Ambiance: Eustic and dark in a cozy way

Service: Excellent!! James was great, and funny!!

    Food: Tasty and flavorful
+ Escargot: generous amount of snails with great flavor. Basil went very well with it!
+ French onion soup: classic and good
+ Champagne brie soup: superb and tasted like a bisque
+ Rack of lamb: juicy and flavor packed!
+ Les Tournedos Rossini: Steak with foie gras... nom nom nom! Decadent and excellent!! Great gravy, tender steak, and nice seated foie gras on top! Comes with mashed potatoes and asparagus so you don't feel as guilty / heavy
+ Chocolate souffle: delicate, moist and not too sweet

    We'll definitely be back!

Had dinner here last night from Dallas Restaurant Week menu. We both had the seafood crepe. It was somewhat spicy - tasted like cayenne pepper was added - something not expected in a french seafood crepe. Also the crepe itself was little tough, not light and fluffy. For entree, I had the Le Biftec Diane. It was delicious. Wife had Boeuf Bourgignon which was also very good. The other couple with us each had the duck which they said was very good. For dessert I had the Creme Brûlée. It was good but not as good as the one I had a few days earlier at Bistro Lavendou.
The service was excellent and the ambiance is quite romantic, including the live piano player.
This was our second visit to this restaurant. Overall, St. Martin's is definitely A-OK, but I have to give a slight edge to Bistro Lavendou, which I think has better food.

Great vibes, great wine, hilariously dark interior with an accessible and overall solid menu.

Had to park a couple blocks away because I'm cheap (sorry valet!), and my eyes took a few minutes to adjust after walking in because it is so dark in here it makes me laugh. That said, the interior design is beautiful, although I could very clearly hear the couple next to us (won't divulge that conversation here!).

Champagne brie soup was as good as advertised, but was disappointed in seafood crepe a bit. As is par for the course for good French, every single sauce is outstanding and perfectly paired with the food. I wish my filet de sole had more of that sauce, because it was a little lacking in flavor, but the asparagus risotto made up for it.

The creme brulee here is the best I've ever had- really unique flavors and perfectly crunchy/creamy combo. Thanks to the wait staff for great wine recs and the most times I've ever had my water glass refilled in one sitting.

Great date night spot! I Love the piano bar ambiance.
A slice of French culture with American style. The dimly lit dining area sets the right mood as the piano plays in the background. Intimate fit as one would expect from French culture. Delicious food!

It's a romantic place, has a cool bar and piano, but it's the menu that we love. Pate, foie gras, chateaubriand, an amazing menu for a foodie. Great service and excellant wines.

We dined two nights there when we went to TX. On the first, the maitre'd took care of us personally, and made our dinner superb. We explained our favorite table and he reserved that for the next evening making our second supper pure perfection.

Highly recommended. When you make your recommendation for the table in the back of the restaurant, tucked into an alcove it's very special and fun too.
